HAL 9000

2001: A Space Odyssey is one of my favorite films. HAL 9000 is the main character and one of the most villainous antagonists in cinematic history. HAL represents all that is wrong with our society's dependence on technology. I printed 5,000 HAL 9000 stickers that I adhere to surfaces and objects to remind people of this dependence. Additionally, I created four paintings using the stickers and four of my favorite HAL quotes. For people who know the film, these stickers in context make perfect sense. Anyone who hasn't seen the film, well, I don't care what they think I suppose. Go watch it NOW.
